Privacy policy

Last updated:

This page explains, in plain terms, what aisen.ca collects about you, what our web host keeps, and what we do with the messages you choose to send us. In short: the site collects nothing directly, and we never sell your information.

Who we are

The aisen.ca website belongs to Aisen (9376-4371 Québec inc.), 5151, rue de Marseille, Montréal (Québec) H1V 0B8.

Person in charge of protecting personal information

Aisen's president, Robert Eisenbruk, is the person in charge of the protection of personal information. The person in charge makes sure this policy is followed and receives requests and complaints.

What the site collects: nothing directly

The site works without:

Fonts and images come from our own domain: to display our pages, your browser does not contact any other site.

What our web host keeps

The site is hosted by Netlify, Inc., in the United States. Like all web servers, Netlify's servers record technical logs of each visit: IP address, browser type, page requested, date and time. Netlify keeps these logs, outside Quebec, for the security and operation of the site, under Netlify's data processing agreement, which is part of its contract with Aisen. We do not use them to identify you or to build a profile of you.

Your emails and calls

When you write to us or call us, we receive what you choose to share: for example your name, your organization, your contact details and your message.

Links to other sites

Our pages may link to other sites: news articles and our LinkedIn page. Once you follow one of these links, you have left aisen.ca: those sites apply their own policies, including on cookies.

Your rights

Quebec law gives you these rights over the information we hold about you:

To exercise any of these rights, write to the person in charge, by email or by mail. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We answer in writing within thirty days of receiving your request.

Questions and complaints

For any question or complaint about how we handle your information, write to the person in charge at contact@aisen.ca. The person in charge reviews your complaint and answers you in writing.

If our answer does not satisfy you, you can contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (www.cai.gouv.qc.ca (opens in a new tab)). If we refuse a request for access, correction or de-indexing, or do not answer in time, you have thirty days to ask the Commission to examine the disagreement.

Changes

If we change this policy, we publish the new version on this page with its update date.

This policy is written under Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector. It is available in French and English; the French version prevails.
